Butler’s Reading of Hegel: Recognition and Universality
This study will try to reading of Judith Butler’s though of Hegel in the context of recognition and universality. In this study, our main thesis is that, regarding to the Butler’s articulation of Hegelian thought that universality and particularity becomes same based in otherness, Butler develops a Hegelian thought that confirms radical democracy in order to prevent the pushing back of difference.
